Business accounting

Accounts and returns prepared to the standard an auditor would expect

Prepared early, explained clearly, and used as the start of a conversation rather than the end of one. Included in every company package from £99 a month.

Who this is for

For every business with an annual filing

Limited companies, sole traders, partnerships and LLPs that need their annual filings done properly and want someone who will sit down and go through the numbers rather than emailing a PDF to sign.

Our background is in audit and charity accounts, so the working papers behind your accounts are the ones an auditor or a lender would want to see.

Included in

  • Company Core from £99 a month
  • Company Growth from £179 a month
  • Company Premium from £299 a month
  • One off Self Assessment from £199

Sole traders and landlords

Self Assessment with the self employment and property pages, Making Tax Digital quarterly updates and the final declaration, payments on account planning, and the High Income Child Benefit Charge and student loan calculations that catch people out.

Partnerships and LLPs

Partnership accounts and the SA800, profit allocation, capital and current accounts, individual partner returns, and LLP accounts filed at Companies House.

Questions

Frequently asked

When are my company accounts due?

Nine months after your year end at Companies House, twelve months after year end for the Corporation Tax return, and the tax itself is due nine months and one day after year end.

What has changed at Companies House?

Directors and people with significant control must verify their identity, small companies now file a profit and loss account, and filing is moving to software only. We handle all three, and we can verify identities as an Authorised Corporate Service Provider.

Can you fix accounts a previous accountant got wrong?

Yes. We review the prior year, correct the opening position and, where needed, prepare amended returns.

What is marginal relief?

Between £50,000 and £250,000 of profit, Corporation Tax is charged at an effective rate that rises from 19% to 25%. The bands are divided between associated companies, which is where mistakes usually happen.

Do you file the return or do I?

We prepare everything and file on your approval as your appointed agent. You always see and approve the figures first.
